    What is the TOB1: Head & Heart Immersion Course?

    Between September 5, 1979, and November 28, 1984 Pope John Paul II released a series of 129 lectures called "Theology of the Body".

    The "Theology of the Body I: Head & Heart Immersion Course" introduces students to the key themes of these lectures. 

    This course not only introduces students to these key themes, but invites each student to look at the world through the "lenses" of Theology of the Body.

    Each student will be encouraged to journey from “head to heart” in applying the theological concepts they learn to their own lives and relationships.

    What is the Theology of the Body?

    Through St. John Paul II, it is the Holy Spirit’s response to the crisis of our times!

     

    We live in a world in which the very meaning of our creation as male and female is under violent, diabolic attack.

     

    St. John Paul II foresaw this crisis and gave us – in advance – the antidote.  But it still needs to be injected into our bloodstream for it to have its healing, life-transforming affect.
