Retreat Directors: Reverend Brett Brannen and Jen Settle

About Your Retreat

The Theology of the Body Institute presents “Theology of the Body and Priestly Identity,” the first of a three-part retreat seminar series entitled, “In the Person of Christ: Theology of the Body and the Catholic Priesthood.”  Guided by Reverend Brett Brannen, priest of the Diocese of Savannah, and TOBI Director of Ongoing Formation and Consecrated Virgin, Jen Settle, participants follow the triptych of the Theology of the Body (our origin, history, and destiny as persons) to discover the applications of the teaching to their priesthood.

Participants will contemplate and discuss among brother priests the Origins and History of the Fatherhood of God and Man, as well as the Destiny of the Fatherhood of Man while diving into topics such as Living as a Son, Spouse, and Father, Spiritual Fatherhood, priestly fraternity, Living in the Person of Christ as Icon of the Bridegroom, Celibacy and Living as a Man of Communion. Join your brother priests for a unique time of receiving, deep prayer, reflection, and daily celebration of the Sacraments of Eucharist and Confession that will rekindle your love of the gift of your priesthood.

Our Five Day Retreat Seminars Include:

+ Five days of interactive presentations. +

+ Time for relaxation and prayer on beautiful retreat grounds. +

+ Daily Mass, Adoration, Liturgy of the Hours, Spiritual Direction, and Confession. +
