Registrants for this online TOB 1 course, will receive access to a filmed version of our in-person 5-day TOB 1 course and a digital course workbook from June 30 - July 11, 2025. Registrants should plan to watch approximately three hours of material per day to complete the course in the given timeframe.

The videos are from a previously recorded in-person TOB1. You can watch them on your own schedule, but we suggest committing 3 hours per day in order to get through all of the material. You will not have access to the videos beyond the end date of the course.

Each video session is complete with the resources used in the course, as well as directions for helping to make this online course, not only intellectually stimulating, but also spiritually fruitful.

There will be live group Q&A sessions provided during that two-week period for all students who wish to participate. Details about dates and times of the sessions will be provided in an email you will receive after registering. Christopher West, Bill Donaghy, or Jen Settle will host the live sessions. These group sessions will be recorded for those students who cannot make the designated times and will be accessible through the online course portal.

Full participation in this course counts towards Certification and the Master’s Degree Programs. Students who wish to attend another course with TOBI or enter into the TOBI Certification Program, must watch all of the videos and complete a multiple choice exam at the end of the course. A passing grade of 80% is required for the exam.

Participants will receive over 30 hours of rich, master's-level instruction through five days of live, in-person lectures. These engaging sessions are designed not just to inform, but to transform—providing an immersive and spiritually enriching educational experience grounded in the Theology of the Body.

Each participant receives a beautifully designed, comprehensive workbook that follows the course material. This allows you to fully enter into the experience without the stress of keeping up with notes—freeing you to listen deeply and reflect more intentionally throughout the week.

Every day includes opportunities for Mass, Eucharistic adoration, and the sacrament of reconciliation. These are not optional add-ons, but integral moments designed to support deep interior formation and spiritual renewal during your time on retreat.

In addition to scheduled programming, the week includes time each day for personal rest, prayer, or fellowship. Many participants use this space to walk the grounds, reflect on what they’ve received, or connect meaningfully with fellow attendees.

For added convenience, an optional round-trip shuttle is available from Philadelphia International Airport directly to the retreat site. Shuttle registration details and fees will be provided after course sign-up.
