Dec. 2-7, 2021
Guadalupe Pilgrimage to Mexico City

(also celebrating the end of the Year of St. Joseph!)

  • Experience the Tilma of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Who is Our Lady of Guadalupe and why is she a beacon for our times? Dr. Christopher West, the world's most recognized evangelizer of St. John Paul II's Theology of the Body teachings, and members of the TOB Institute team will unfold the glorious tilma of Our Lady of Guadalupe as seen through the lens of the Theology of the Body.

  • A Tour of Catholic History in Mexico

From Mary's entry into the Aztec culture more than 500 years ago (Teotihuacan Pyramids), to the tragedy from the Mexican Revolution 100 years ago and its important lessons for us today (the tomb of Blessed Miguel Pro and Zocalo Square), to an exploration of the Catholic Church in today's secular culture, you will get a 360-degree view of Catholicism in Mexico from our team and expert local guides.

  • Explore the City on Your Own During Leisure Times

You will have plenty of free time to explore the local cuisine, social life and sites not on the itinerary but you want to visit. Our motto is Faith, Food & Fun!

Aug. 26-Sept. 4, 2022
Spanish Mystics (Spain) and Fatima

Plus optional Camino extension Sept. 4-7, 2022

(Note: Christopher will not be part of the TOBI team for the extension.)

  • Immersion Into the Promises of Our Lady of Fatima

We will spend the first two and a half days in Fatima entering into the mystery and prophesies revealed there to three children in 1917. We'll visit the site of several apparitions, including the Miracle of the Sun on October 13, 1917. Dr. Christopher West explores what the secrets of Fatima reveal about this critical moment in history and how each and every one of us can play a role in bringing about the promised “triumph of the Immaculate Heart.”

  • Immersion into the Spanish Mystics

We will dive deep into the lives of St. Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross, tapping into their wisdom and learning how to apply the examples of these saints' lives to our own. We will learn why these two mystics played a pivotal role in the spiritual journey of St. John Paul II. We will also touch on the lives of Ignatius of Loyala and other Spanish saints.

  • Deep Insight into the Spirituality of St. John Paul II

A pilgrimage to Fatima and the land of the Spanish mystics couldn’t be more fitting for Theology of the Body Institute. Our Lady of Fatima, John of the Cross, and Teresa of Avila have all played an enormously significant role in shaping John Paul II’s TOB! In fact, one could even say that this

pilgrimage is taking us to the historical and mystical roots of John Paul II’s teaching.

  • Explore the City on Your Own During Leisure Times

You will have plenty of free time to explore the local cuisine, social life and sites not on the itinerary but you want to visit. Our motto is Faith, Food & Fun!
